1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a site. They let the site work, remember preferences and, with your consent, measure traffic and campaign performance. Under Law No. 195/2024 on personal data protection and ePrivacy principles, strictly necessary cookies are used without consent, while analytics, marketing and non-essential functional cookies are set ONLY based on your prior, explicit consent. Consent is NOT deemed given by mere use of the site.

3. Cookie categories

• Strictly necessary — essential for the site to work (session, language, security). Cannot be disabled and need no consent.
• Analytics — help us understand how the site is used (e.g. Google Analytics). Set only with your consent.
• Marketing — campaign measurement and remarketing (e.g. Google Ads). Set only with your consent.
• Functional — extra features such as live chat, maps or embedded widgets. Set only with your consent.

4. Cookies we use

Until you give consent, no analytics or marketing cookie loads (we use Google Consent Mode v2 with a default "denied" state).

• NEXT_LOCALE — strictly necessary — remembers chosen language — ~12 months — provider: aichat.md.
• aichat_cookie_consent_v1 (local storage) — strictly necessary — stores your cookie preferences — ~180 days — provider: aichat.md.
• _ga, _ga_* — analytics — usage statistics — up to 24 months — provider: Google.
• _gcl_au — marketing — Google Ads campaign attribution — ~90 days — provider: Google.

5. Managing your consent

On your first visit a banner lets you Accept all, Reject or choose Settings per category — rejecting is as easy as accepting. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via the "Cookie settings" button in the site footer. On withdrawal, non-essential cookies are stopped and already-set ones can be deleted from your browser settings. You can also block or delete cookies directly in your browser.

6. International transfers

Analytics and marketing cookies involve providers in the United States (Google). Such transfers rely on adequate safeguards (Standard Contractual Clauses / EU-US Data Privacy Framework). See the Privacy Policy for details.
