PERSONAL DATA DELETION

This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data collected about you by aichat.md (operated by MEGA PROMOTING S.R.L., IDNO 1019600021765, headquartered in Danceni village, MD-6814, Ialoveni district, Republic of Moldova).

For end users (customers who chatted with an agent on Facebook/Instagram/website)

If you received an automated message from an AI agent managed by aichat.md on Facebook Messenger, Instagram Direct, or via a website widget, your conversation data is temporarily stored by aichat.md on behalf of the business you chatted with. To request its deletion:

1. Send an email to: privacy@aichat.md
2. Subject: "Personal data deletion request (GDPR / Meta)"
3. In the message: your name, email used, platform (Facebook/Instagram/widget), page/site name, and approximate conversation date.
4. We will confirm receipt within 3 business days.
5. Your personal data will be deleted within 30 days from confirmation, per Article 17 GDPR ("right to be forgotten").

For a WhatsApp conversation, include the WhatsApp channel, the business you contacted and the approximate date in your request to privacy@aichat.md. Disconnecting the channel does not delete messages already stored.

For direct aichat.md clients (companies using the platform)

If you have an active aichat.md account as an AI agent administrator, you have two deletion options:

1. Account deletion: the dashboard does not have a delete button yet, so the request is sent by email (next step). Once the request is registered you have 30 days to cancel it; after that the account's identifying data (email, name, phone) is anonymized, agents are archived and channel connections are disabled. Conversations and leads are not deleted automatically with the account: ask explicitly for their deletion in the same email.
2. Email deletion: send request to privacy@aichat.md from your account email. We will verify identity and process within 30 days.
3. Active subscription will be cancelled automatically. Refunds (if applicable) per Terms of Use.

Deletion for users authenticated via Facebook

If you authenticated to aichat.md using Facebook Login, you can revoke our access to your Facebook data directly from Facebook: Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites → find "aichat.md" → Remove. That revokes our access. For deletion of already-stored data, follow the email steps above.

Data retention period

• Active conversations: retained for the duration of the contractual relationship between aichat.md and the direct client (the business using the platform).
• Historical conversations: currently not deleted automatically after a fixed period; they are deleted at the request of the direct client or of the data subject (see the steps above). The maximum retention period is still being set.
• Billing data: minimum 5 years, as required by Moldovan fiscal legislation.
• Technical logs: used only for security and troubleshooting. Web server logs are deleted automatically after 14 days and application logs after 30 days; for other technical logs the maximum period is still being set.
• Database backups: made daily, including a copy outside the main server. Data deleted from the active system may remain in these copies until they expire; the backup retention period is still being set.
